The twelve phases of a typical stage production:

  1. Pre-Production
  2. Auditions
  3. Cast List Posted
  4. Rehearsals Pt. 1 - Information, group bonding, and learning staging/singing/choreo
  5. Rehearsals Pt. 2 - All lines/songs memorized, cast putting together all staging/singing/choreo
  6. Rehearsals Pt. 3 - Refining everything
  7. Rehearsals Pt. 4 - Tech Week (rehearsals in the theatre with sets/costumes/lights/mics/orchestra)
  8. PERFORMANCES!
  9. Brushup Rehearsal
  10. Final Performances
  11. Strike (move everything out of the theatre and back into storage)
  12. Cast Party!
